Setting the standard for happy hamsters
Our adoption standards ensure every hamster we rehome has the best possible start to their new life. These standards are based on the latest research and welfare guidelines.
These standards are non-negotiable and must be met before any hamster can be adopted.
Our Adoption Criteria Checklists
Please note: Each available hamster's minimum enclosure size is listed on their individual profile and is based on their individual needs.
Wheel Size
The wheel must be a suitable size for your hamster to run with a flat back.
Syrian Hamsters: 28cm +
Chinse Hamsters: 28cm +
Dwarf Hamsters: 25cm +
Roborvski Hamsters: 25cm +
Entrance Size
All hides and tunnels must have an appropriately sized entrance for the species.
Syrian Hamsters: 7cm +
Chinse/Dawrf/Robo: 6cm +
