Welcome to Professor Stash's Questionable Portrait Studio - where artistic talent is optional, but helping rescue hamsters definitely isn't.

For a donation of £10 or more, one of our wonderfully untalented volunteer artists will create a completely unique portrait of your pet. It might be adorable. It might be hilarious. It might raise more questions than answers.

One thing is guaranteed...

You'll receive a one-of-a-kind piece of art that nobody else in the world owns.

Every donation helps Fable's Hamster Rescue provide food, bedding, enrichment and veterinary care for hamsters waiting for their forever homes.

  1. Complete the form below and upload a clear photo of your pet.

  2. Make a donation of £10 or more.

  3. One of our volunteer artists will be assigned to your masterpiece.

  4. Sit back and wait while your portrait is lovingly (and questionably) created.

  5. We'll email your finished artwork once it's complete.

What can I expect?

Each portrait is hand-drawn or painted by one of our volunteers in their own unique style.

Some may be surprisingly good.

Some... may not.

That's all part of the fun.

This fundraiser celebrates creativity, laughter and supporting rescue hamsters. Every portrait is created with care, even if the artistic results are... open to interpretation.

Please read before ordering

  • Portraits are intentionally silly and are not professional commissions.

  • Every volunteer has their own artistic style and ability.

  • Your finished portrait may look only vaguely related to your pet.

  • Completion times will vary depending on volunteer availability, so please allow a little patience while your artwork is being created.

  • Digital copies are supplied by email.

  • All donations are non-refundable, as they directly support the care of rescue hamsters.

Tips for the best portrait

Uploading a good reference photo gives our artists the best chance of creating something that's... recognisable.

 

We recommend:

  • A clear, well-lit photograph.

  • Your pet facing the camera where possible.

  • Avoid blurry or heavily filtered images.

  • One pet per portrait per submission.

Where does my donation go?

Every portrait purchased helps us continue caring for hamsters in rescue.

​

Your donation contributes towards things such as:

  • 🥣 Food and specialist diets

  • 🛏️ Bedding and enclosure supplies

  • 🩺 Veterinary treatment and medication

  • 🌿 Enrichment and welfare items

  • 🚗 Transport to foster homes and adopters
