At Fable's Hamster Rescue, our mission is to provide a safe haven and find loving forever homes for hamsters in need. To ensure transparency and responsible practice for all involved, we have established the following terms of service for both surrendering and adopting animals. 

 

By accessing and utilising the Fable's Hamster Rescue website, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service, effective from the date of your initial visit. Fable's Hamster Rescue reserves the right to amend or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any modifications will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website following such changes will indicate your acceptance of the revised terms. Furthermore, you agree to use this website solely for lawful purposes, and in a manner that respects the rights of others and does not restrict or inhibit any user's access, enjoyment, or operation of the site, ensuring a positive and secure environment for our community and the vital work of our rescue.

Surrendering a Hamster

By completing and submitting our surrender form, you agree to the following conditions:

• You confirm that you are the sole legal owner of the animal being surrendered and that no other individual or entity holds any rights or claims to it.

• Upon the successful submission of the surrender form and the physical transfer of the animal, all property rights, ownership, and custody of the hamster are immediately and irrevocably transferred to Fable's Hamster Rescue.

• Once the animal is legally in our possession, you understand and agree that the surrendered hamster cannot be re-adopted or returned to you under any circumstances.

Adopting a Hamster

By submitting an adoption inquiry form and proceeding with our adoption process, you agree to the following conditions:

• You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

• You consent to Fable's Hamster Rescue using the information provided in your application and throughout the process for communication, administrative, and management purposes related to your adoption inquiry.

• You understand and agree to fully participate in and comply with our established adoption process, which may include home checks, interviews, and educational discussions.

• You acknowledge and agree that an adoption donation is required, which is non-refundable. This donation directly contributes to the operational costs of Fable's Hamster Rescue, enabling us to continue our vital work of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming hamsters.

• Should you, at any point post-adoption, become unable or unwilling to care for the hamster, you commit to returning the animal directly to Fable's Hamster Rescue. The hamster is not to be rehomed or passed on to a third party without our prior consent.

• You assume full responsibility for the health, welfare, and overall condition of the adopted animal from the moment of transfer.

• You verify that all information provided by you during the adoption process is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.

Donations & Payments

• Donations: Donations made to Fable's Hamster Rescue are voluntary and non-refundable unless a processing error occurs. We appreciate your generosity, and every contribution helps us provide a safe and comfortable environment for our rescued hamsters.

• Trusted Third-Party Providers: We accept payments through trusted third-party providers such as PayPal. Rest assured that we do not store your payment details, maintaining the highest level of security and privacy.
