Surrendering a Hamster
By submitting a surrender application, you confirm that:

You are the legal owner of the hamster being surrendered.

The information provided is accurate and complete.

No other person has legal ownership of the animal.
Upon acceptance of the surrender and physical transfer of the hamster:

Full legal ownership transfers permanently to Fable's Hamster Rescue.

The surrender cannot be reversed.

The hamster may be assessed, treated, fostered or rehomed at our discretion.
Fable's Hamster Rescue reserves the right to refuse any surrender request.
Adoption Applications
By submitting an adoption application, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age.

All information provided is true and accurate.

You consent to us processing your application and contacting you regarding your enquiry.

You agree to participate in our adoption process, which may include interviews, enclosure assessments, veterinary discussions or other suitability checks.
Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption.
Fable's Hamster Rescue reserves the right to refuse any application where we believe an adoption would not be in the hamster's best interests. We are not obliged to provide a reason for our decision.
After Adoption
Following adoption, you agree that:

You accept full responsibility for the hamster's welfare, health and ongoing care.

You will provide housing, enrichment, diet and veterinary care appropriate for the species.

You will not breed from the hamster.

You will not sell, gift or otherwise rehome the hamster without our prior written permission.

If you can no longer care for the hamster, you will contact Fable's Hamster Rescue to arrange its return wherever reasonably possible.
Our lifetime return policy exists to help ensure every hamster remains safe throughout its life.
Adoption Donations
Adoption donations contribute towards the costs of rescuing, transporting, housing and providing veterinary care for rescued hamsters. Unless otherwise agreed, adoption donations are non-refundable once the adoption has been completed.
Where an adoption cannot proceed before collection due to circumstances outside the adopter's control, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Donations
General donations made to Fable's Hamster Rescue are voluntary and are normally non-refundable.
If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate.
Merchandise Purchases
Where products are purchased through our website:

Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Payments are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers.

Product descriptions and photographs are provided as accurately as possible.

Payment Processing
Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party providers, including PayPal and Wix Payments.
Fable's Hamster Rescue does not store your payment card details.
